About Mr. John Girod
John is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and graduate of New York University where he received a BFA in film and television production. Since completing his degree, he worked in various aspects of production from casting for NBC to producing reality programming for Discovery and A&E. Most recently he produced true crime series for Investigation Discovery, Oxygen, and TVone including the shows Homicide Hunter, Snapped, Vengeance, and Fatal Attraction.
After spending half a decade producing true crime, “I felt disillusioned with content that high-lighted and re-created the worst aspects of humanity”.
During the Covid quarantine John had time to catch up with Dr. Andrea Espinoza. John was profoundly inspired with what Dr. Dre and all the providers at OCSM were doing to instill and promote the positivity of life and healthy living.
