The Orthopedic Center for Sports Medicine is proud to welcome Nicholas Pappas III, M.D. to the OCSM clinic. A New Orleans native, Dr. Pappas is a fellowship trained and double Board Certified Orthopedic Hand Surgeon who brings over 10 years of experience treating hand and upper extremity injuries to our healthcare facility. He is the newest member of the OCSM Healthcare team and founder of NOLA Hand Surgery (nolahandsurgery.com).
Procedures performed include carpal tunnel release, cubital tunnel release, trigger finger release, thumb/finger joint replacement, ganglion cyst excision, flexor/extensor tendon repairs, hand/wrist ligament repairs, nerve repairs, wrist arthroscopy, and operative fixation of hand/wrist/elbow fractures.
Luis M. Espinoza, M.D., is a fellowship trained and double board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in minimally-invasive arthroscopic shoulder procedures as well as arthroscopic management of knee, elbow, and ankle problems. Chadwick Murphy, M.D. is board certified with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Subspecialty of Pain Management of the spine. Our staff continues to offer timely doctor visits, physical therapy, X-rays and MRI scans all under one roof to patients from all over the New Orleans metro area
Andrea Espinoza, M.D. diagnoses and treats an array of conditions. She specializes in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic cough, and many other chronic lung conditions. With on-site pulmonary function testing, she can measure patients’ lung function throughout treatment. As a Lifestyle Medicine specialist, Dr. Andrea Espinoza offers a multidisciplinary approach to individualized patient care. She offers preoperative optimization for patients to ensure the best clinical outcome. ONE Clinic offers in-depth consultation with a focus on education, nutritional counseling, and effective mindfulness strategies to patients to improve quality of life.
